E-liquid can be vaped with or without nicotine. The nicotine levels are different per brand, J WELL offers e-liquids in a range from 0mg to 16mg nicotine.

A lower level of nicotine gives a lighter throat-hit (feels less sharp in the throat) and a higher nicotine level gives a heavier throat-hit (feels sharper in the throat).

The nicotine level that suits you best is different for everyone and depends on the device and the type of cigarettes you smoke. Below you can find a small overview of the different levels of nicotine at J WELL

Contains no nicotine and is most used by people who have already stopped smoking and have finished reducing their nicotine levels or by people who only have e-cigarettes for the activity or taste.
Hardly gives any throat-hit.

3mg

Is about half the strength of a light cigarette and is regularly used in sub-ohm devices. Most used by lighter smokers or people who are already reducing their nicotine levels.
Gives a minimal throat-hit.

6mg

Is most similar to light cigarettes and is usually the highest nicotine level recommended in sub-ohm devices. Most used by people who smoke light cigarettes or as a reducing step from 8/11mg.
Gives a medium throat-hit.

8mg

Is in between the normal and light cigarette and is therefore most used by people who smoke light cigarettes or people who only smoke a few normal cigarettes a day.
Gives a medium throat-hit.

11mg

Is most similar to normal cigarettes and is not recommended for sub-ohm devices. Most used by people who smoke normal cigarettes or light hand rolled cigarettes.
Gives medium/heavy Throat-hit.

16mg

Is most similar to heavy tobacco and is not recommended for use in a sub-ohm device. Is most used by people who smoke heavy tobacco, more than a pack of normal cigarettes or are looking for a serious throat-hit.
Gives a heavy throat-hit.
